If you'd asked me 5 years ago to go on a muti-day hike to climb a peak, I probably would have laughed at the idea. My love of adventure and the road less travelled triggered throughout a cycling trip in 2014. The smells of tantalising tossed garlic in the remote and rural villages in Vietnam still a fresh and vivid taste. Though it would still be a few year before I'd attempt my first hike and summit, Mt Fuji. Perhaps scared of the unknown, lack of knowledge and equipment drowned my vision for climbing and hiking for all these years. Though this all changed as I embarked on a solo journey and stood on the summit of Japan's highest peak for my 21st.
